Growing up in a beach town in California, I was always an active kid, competed on sports teams in high school, and taught aerobics in college. I have run 1/2 marathons, finished a Tough Mudder and many 6 hour Spin rides for Charity. I have recently taken up Surfing, which is big challenging as I live in the Northeast! Fitness is just one piece of my life.
I am a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and a Food Addiction Counselor (INFACT). I am a Certified Spinning® Instructor (STAR 3), Vinyasa Yoga instructor (200 Hour) and Classical Pilates instructor.
Even with all of my knowledge and exercise, I still was not at peace with my body. I found nutrition to be the missing piece of the puzzle, I was always on a diet and yet I was never at my goal weight. Through a lot of trial and error, I found my last diet. The last diet became my food plan and the basis of my book “Why Can’t I Stick to My Diet? : How To End The Food Drama” available online at Amazon November 9th.
